The team have won all three rounds of the championship so far this year, and team drivers, Chris Atkinson and Guarav Gill, will start the Malaysian Rally as hot favorites. Gaurav Gill won his sixth event in a row, taking a dominant India Rally victory. Team MRI’s Gaurav Gill has continued his stellar season, winning his fifth consecutive event and claiming the 2016 Asia Pacific Rally Championship title in the process. Four out of four wins for Gill and Team MRI. The Malaysian Rally is traditionally one of the maximum firm of the season, with warm and humid weather conditions ready to propel teams to their limits.
